Else Bos

Else Bos has worked at DNB since 2018 as a member of the Executive Board and Chair of Prudential Supervision. Her responsibilities include the supervision of pension funds and insurers and DNB’s digital supervision strategy. She is a member of the Board of Supervisors and of the Management Board of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA). For her personally, the time has come to pursue her career in a different direction.

Else Bos: “I have tremendously enjoyed working at DNB in recent years. It’s an organisation with dedicated professionals committed to financial stability and sustainable prosperity. I am proud of what we have achieved together, especially in the areas of supervision and digitalisation. I have experienced a great deal of freedom to make my contributions, and I have learned a lot. A new period is dawning for me, in which I hope to share my knowledge and experience in supervisory roles, although it is still uncertain in what capacity. Until then, I will be fully committed to fulfilling my duties on behalf of DNB."

Martin van Rijn, Chair of DNB’s Supervisory Board, said: "We thank Else for the contributions she made to the organisation and wish her every success in her next steps. We understand her decision and are glad she announced it in time, so we can ensure a careful transfer."

Klaas Knot, President of DNB, said: "We will miss a passionate colleague, who made an important contribution to De Nederlandsche Bank with conviction and vision."

In the period ahead, the Supervisory Board will consider Else’s succession on the Executive Board.
