Rising political tensions worldwide are gradually reshaping the global economic order, with geopolitical uncertainty impacting policy decisions and economic performance. This year’s conference aims to bring together scholars, researchers and policymakers to discuss the potential implications of an intensification in (geo-)economic and financial fragmentation for international trade, production networks, payment systems, asset prices, cross-border investments, migration, technological progress and the international monetary system.
