  • know which EMIR requirements apply to you and what impact EMIR has on your operational management;
  • comply with the requirements regarding risk-mitigating techniques;
  • report your transactions to trade repositories in order to comply with EMIR's reporting requirements, either by yourself or through a service provider (such as a bank);
  • check the ESMA website on a regular basis to stay abreast of the developments regarding EMIR.
