Exchanging collector coins
You can exchange Dutch collector coins for euros at De Nederlandsche Bank. Read more about the various options and the conditions that apply.
Collector coins
Collector coins always have a different value from regular euro coins. For example, there are €5 collector coins. If you wish to exchange a Dutch collector coin for euros, we will be happy to help at DNB. You will receive the face value of the coin. You will, for example, receive five euros for the silver €5 Bosch coin, meaning that you will not be compensated for the additional value that the collector coin may have. For special coins you can usually get a better price at a coin dealer or online market platforms.
