DNB charges a fee for considering applications for authorisation.
The fee applies regardless of whether we grant or reject the application or the applicant withdraws the application, or we cease consideration during the procedure.
Fees are charged for processing a permit application. The amount of these one-off costs is set out in the Regulation on the financing of financial supervision of one-off actions (Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen - Dutch only).
We also charge electronic money institutions an annual fee to cover the costs of our regular supervision on these institutions.
Since the entry into force of DORA, financial institutions must keep a register of information on all contractual agreements on the use of ICT services provided by third-party providers (DORA, Article 28(3)). T

DNB has recently amended the suitability matrix for banks, insurers, payment institutions, investment holding companies, exchange institutions, electronic money institutions, central clearing counterparties, clearing institutions and payment processing service providers.
