DNB charges a fee for considering applications for a trust office licence.
The fee applies regardless of whether we approve or reject the application or the applicant withdraws the application, or we cease consideration during the procedure.
Fees are charged for processing a permit application. The amount of these one-off costs is set out in the Regulation on Costs for One-Time Supervisory Actions (Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen).
DNB also charges trust offices an annual fee to cover the costs of ongoing supervision of trust offices.
On Tuesday 5th November from 3:00-4:45 PM CET DNB will organize a physical information session about fit and proper assessments.

De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) issued an instruction on 29 September 2022 to trust office CIS Management B.V. (CIS) for serious deficiencies in its systematic integrity risk analysis (SIRA). DNB confirmed to CIS on 18 December 2023 that it had sufficiently complied with the instruction.
